Troeuk Troeun’s family is now safe from illness!

Troeuk Troeun lives with his wife and four children in the village of Wat Sway in Siam Reap, rural Western Cambodia.
The family lives in a house built from wood. Troeuk Troeun sells pillows to earn a living. The family owns two bikes and one motor which they use to get to town for their needs.
Troeuk Troeun’s family traveled long distances to gather water for their needs. They collected water from a nearby well which was not very clean and safe for consumption. It had to be boiled and cooled before consuming.
Despite taking these precautionary measures, one member of his family fell sick every two weeks causing much strain on the family income.
After receiving this gift of a water filter from Trailblazer, Troeuk Troeun’s family can now filter up to 80 liters of clean water each day.

Gift of a water filter!

Hor Sophal lives with her husband and nine children – four sons and five daughters, in the village of Vihea Chin in Siem reap District, rural Western Cambodia.
The family lives in a house built from wood and brick. The family also owns four bikes, two motors and one car which they use to get to town and for their other needs. She works as a health worker to support the needs of her large family.
Before receiving the filter from Trailblazer, Hor Sophal’s family traveled long distances to gather water for the family. This water was not clean for consumption and had to be boiled and cooled before drinking.
Despite these precautionary methods, one member of the family fell ill every two weeks.
With your generous gift of a water filter, Mathieu, Hor Sophal’s family can now filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water, each day. In this photo, Hor Sophal is seen standing next to the filter, gifted by you.

New pump well for Tok San’s family!

Tok San lives with his wife and three children – two sons and one daughter in the village of Pongro, in rural Western Cambodia.
The family lives in a house built from palm and own two bikes which they use to get to town. In addition, they also have three chickens.
With no access to clean water in the vicinity, Tok San’s family travelled long distances to gather water for their needs. But after receiving the well from Trailblazer, the family is very happy to have access to clean water in their backyard.

Clean water for Mok Sarith’s family

Mok Sarith lives with his wife and two children in the village of Sala Komreok in Sway Dongkum District, in rural Western Cambodia.
Mok Sarith works in a restaurant nearby to support the needs of his family. The family lives in a house built from wood and they own one bike and one motor which they use to get to town.
Before receiving the water filter from Trailblazer, Mok Sarith’s family drew water from a nearby pull pump which could not be consumed unless it was boiled and cooled.

Path Hon’s family is safe from illness!

Clean water for Tan Gnean’s children

Tan Gnean lives with his wife and two daughters in the village of Pongro, in rural Western Cambodia.
The family lives in a house with no wall and they own a bike which they use to get to town. In addition, they own 10 chickens.
The family does not have a reliable source of water and Tan Gnean and his wife often had to travel long distances to collect clean water for their needs.
