Tam Tonch and his five children have access to a well!
posted November 5, 2010

Tam Tonch lives with his wife and five children in the village of Pongro in Western Cambodia. They live in a wood home and own three chickens and two cows. Thanks to the generous combined support of Pierre, Phuong, Carol, Shan, Irene, Rebecca, Lorraine, Karen, David, Deborah, Don and Martha, the Trailblazer Foundation was able to build a well for this family.
The Trailblazer Foundation is able to keep the cost of the wells they build very low, as they have their own drilling equipment and team! In addition, these hand pump wells provide ample water for a family’s needs at a depth of just 20m.
This well will change life for Tam Tonch and his family, as having a reliable source of water near their home frees up a great deal of time they once spent walking long distances to collect water for themselves and their animals. Thank you all for your support!
