Thang Koy and his family have a reliable source of water!
posted November 5, 2010

Thang Koy lives with his wife, two sons and daughter in the village of Pongro in Western Cambodia. They live in a house made of palm, and in addition to their crops, they own three chickens and one cow. Thanks to the generous support of Donald, Brooke, Anita, Claire, Scott, Roy, Elizabeth, Susie, Richard and Jack, the Trailblazer Foundation was able to build a well for this family.
The Trailblazer Foundation is able to keep the cost of the wells they build very low, as they have their own drilling equipment and team! In addition, these hand pump wells provide ample water for a family’s needs at a depth of just 20m.
This well will change life for Thang Koy and his family. Pictured to the right is Thang Koy’s wife and one of his sons. Thank you all for your support!
