Kean and his family use their new well!
posted November 13, 2010

Kean Ky lives in the village of Kbal Kropeu in rural Western Cambodia. Kean Ky and his wife and son live in a house made of palm (pictured), and in addition to their crops, they own four chickens. Thanks to the generous support of Paul (5 parts!), Ruby (3 parts!), Julan (2 parts!), Alexandra, Yosia, Jo Ann, James, Jeremy, Chris and Megan, the Trailblazer Foundation was able to build a well for this family.
The Trailblazer Foundation is able to keep the cost of the wells they build very low, as they have their own drilling equipment and team! These low cost hand pump wells provide ample water for a family’s needs at a depth of just 20m.
This well will change life for Kean Ky and his family, bringing a reliable source of water into their front yard. Thank you all for your generous support!
