Nhok Kun and his wife support a family of 10 as rice farmers. They live with their five sons and three daughters live in the village of Bekkam Phlerng in Western Cambodia. They gather water for themselves and their two chickens and two cows from a nearby pitwell.
Before your generous donation of a biosand filter the family was often sick as a result of poor quality water. Now the family can filter up to 80 liters of water each day, keeping their family safe from waterborne diseases.
Thanks Suberr for providing clean water!
