Kam Ker lives with her husband and six daughters in the village of Bekkam Phlerng in Western Cambodia. The family lives in a house built from palm and they support themselves by growing rice and vegetables. In addition, they have five chickens and two cows.
The family gathers water from a nearby pump well, but they are not able to drink this water without boiling it and then waiting for it to cool. Despite these precautions, a member of the family becomes ill at least once a month.
Thanks to your generous donation, Kam Ker’s family can now filter 80 liters of clean, safe drinking water each day.
Thank you Cameron for your support!
