Thi Thon lives with his wife and six children – two sons and four daughters in the village of Chankuy in Puok District, rural Western Cambodia.
Thi Thon farms to support the needs of his family. The family lives in a house built from palm and own one bike which they use to get to town. In addition, they also own two chickens and two cows.
Before receiving the water filter from you, Thi Thon’s family drew water from a nearby well which could not be consumed without boiling and cooling. Despite taking these precautionary methods, a member in the family fell sick every two weeks.
Thanks to your gift of a water filter, Anmol, Thi Thon’s family now has access to clean water and can filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water each day.
Thank you, Anmol, for this thoughtful gift!
