Path Hon lives with his family in the village of Chankuy in Puok District, rural Western Cambodia.
Path Hon is a farmer and he supports the needs of his family through allied activities. The family lives in a house built from palm and they own an oxcart and a bike which they use to get to town and distant places. In addition, they also own one chicken, eight ducks and three cows.
Before receiving the filter from Trailblazer, the family drew water from a nearby well which needed to be boiled and cooled before consumption. Despite these precautionary methods, a member in the family fell sick every two weeks.
Thanks to your generous donation, Shawn, Path Hon’s family has received a brand new water filter which can filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water each day.
Thanks to your support, Path Hon’s family will now be safe from waterborne illness.
