Safe from deadly disease!

Yan Ying lives with his wife and three children in the village of Bekkam Phlerng in Soutr Nikom district, rural Western Cambodia.

The family lives in a house built from wood and own one motor and one oxcart. Yan Ying grows rice and vegetables to support the needs of his family. In addition, they also own three chickens and two cows which provide them an additional source of income.

Yan Ying’s family had no access to clean water before receiving the water filter from Trailblazer. They traveled long distances to draw water from a pit well which was most often unsafe for consumption. The water had to be boiled and cooled before consuming.

Thanks to your generous gift of a water filter, Wilma, Yan Ying’s family can now filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water each day.

They can now save much time from traveling for water and can’t thank you enough for this very thoughtful gift.
