Tem Thorn’s family can save much time!

Tem Thorn lives with his wife and three children in the village of Krosaing in Siam Reap district, rural Western Cambodia.

The family lives in a house built from palm and Tem Thorn farms to support his family. They own three bikes which they use to get to town for their needs. In addition, they also own three ducks which give them an additional source of income.

Before receiving the water filter from Trailblazer, Tem Thorn’s family had no access to clean water and traveled long distances to collect water for the household needs. They spent much time to gather water from a pump well which provided them unclean water.

The water had to be boiled and cooled before consuming. Despite taking these measures, Tem Thorn’s children often fell sick to waterborne illness.

Thanks to your generous donation, Laurent, Tem Thorn’s family has been gifted a water filter with which they can now filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water each day.

This will suffice to meet all their needs and will ensure that the family is safe from illness. They are thrilled to receive this gift from you and value it very much. In this photo, Tem Thorn and his family is seen standing next to the filter which will now help them lead a healthy life.
