80 liters of clean water each day!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Dear ADRIAN,

Plean Van lives with his wife and ten children in the village of Bekkam Phlerng in Soutr Nikom District, rural Western Cambodia.

The family lives in a house built from palm and Plean Van grows rice and vegetables to support the needs of his large family. The family owns a bike, motor and an oxcart. In addition, they also own two chickens and three cows which provide an additional source of income.

Before receiving the water filter from Trailblazer, Plean Van’s family traveled long distances to collect water from a traditional pit which was not very safe for consumption. The water had to be boiled and cooled before drinking and in spite of taking these precautionary measures, a member of the family fell sick every two weeks.

Thanks to your generous gift of a water filter, Plean Van’s family now has access to clean water and can filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water each day. In this photo, Plean Van’s family is seen standing next to the filter, gifted by you, Adrian.

Thank you so much Adrian, for this gift of a filter!
