Mol Sarath lives with his wife and four children, in the village of Bekkam Phlerng, rural Western Cambodia.
He grows rice and vegetables to earn a living and the family lives in a house built from wood. They own one bike, motor and an oxcart which they use to get to town. In addition, they also own two ducks and two cows which provide them an additional income.
With no access to clean water in the vicinity, Mol Sarath used a nearby pump well to gather water for their family and livestock. The water was not always clean and had to be boiled and cooled before consumption. Despite taking these precautionary methods, a member of their family fell sick every two weeks.
Your generous donation, Ted, enabled Trailblazer to provide Mol Sarath’s family a water filter with which they can now filter up to 80 liters of clean and safe drinking water, each day.
In this photo, Mol Sarath’s wife and child are seen standing next to the water filter, gifted by you, Ted.
Thank you so much, for this wonderful gift!
