Yem Phat lives with her husband and nine children, in the village of Tatrav (Bakong), rural Western Cambodia.
The family lives in a house built from dried leaves. Yem Phat’s husband farms to support the needs of their family. They own one bike which they use to travel to town. In addition, they also own one chicken and two cows that provide an additional source of income.
With no access to clean water, Yem Phat’s family traveled long distances to gather water for their needs and the livestock.
Your generous donation, Laurent, enabled Trailblazer to provide a water filter to Yem Phat’s family, with which they can now filter up to 80 liters of clean water each day! In this photo, you can see Yem Phat’s daughter using the new water filter gifted by you.
Thanks to your gift, they now have access to clean water and can save much time and energy from traveling long distances for water.
Your support means a lot to them. Thank you for this kind gesture!
