Pal Khchong lives with his wife, a son and 4 daughters in a house with palm leaf walls in Pong Tuek village in Siem Reap province, Cambodia. He supports his family by working as a rice farmer.
Khchong has two bicycles which are the family’s form of transportation. He harvests 270 kilograms of rice each season and has five chickens to augment their diet.
Your donation, Cherry Crest Elementary School, has enabled Trailblazers to build a well for Pal Khchong and his family. With this well the family can consider growing a garden to increase their food supply, and perhaps grow additional produce for sale in the local market. The family is so happy to have access to a consistent water source.
Thank you, Cherry Crest Elementary School, for bringing Pal Khchong and his family water and hope for a better life.
