Chea Such’s family can now grow vegetables

Chea Such

Dear Cherry Crest,

Thank you for your generous gift to Chea Such and her family. Such lives in Pong Tuek village, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She shares this well with two family units of eight people- five  female and three male-  who survive by farming.

The families are very happy to receive this well. Such’s family lives in a house with wooden walls. They have no means of transportation and have no livestock. Prior to receiving this well, which provides for life giving access to water, they were unable to even grow vegetables. This year her family will be able to grow food, whereby improving not only their nutrition and health, but giving them a means to increase their earnings through the sale of additional produce.

Thank you, Cherry Crest Elementary School, for making a difference in the lives of Chea Such and her family.
