Soan’s family will not keep falling sick

Som Soan and his wife have two sons and three daughters. They live in a wood house and own two motorbikes, two bicycles, two cows, and an oxcart. Although they have 5,600 kilograms of rice in storage and their economic status is above the poverty level, their water supply comes from a traditional open pit well dug in the ground, because of which the family is prone to water borne diseases.
