Chea Chut lives in a wood house which has three family units of ten males and eleven females. They grow rice for a living and have two cows to help with planting and harvesting their rice. The twenty-one members of his family share two bicycles and one motorbike which they use for transporting their children to school, and for going to the market and to work in the rice fields. Although they have a pump well, the water is not potable, and they entire family is prone to falling prey to waterborne diseases.
Your donation, William, will provide a biosand water filter to Chut and his family. The filter will remove bacteria, viruses and parasites from the water, and help keep the 21 members of the family healthy.
Thank you for keeping the family healthy and happy.
