Saran’s families now have access to clean drinking water

Tong Saran lives with his two family units comprising of 11 men, women and children. Saran and his extended family are rice farmers. With their 4 cows they work hard to provide enough food to feed their sons and daughters. They have to make 650 kigs of rice last through the season. Their 4 chickens help supplement their food securities. Saran and his family live in a wood house and share 1 bicycle to get around.

Since the family doesn’t have a source of reliable drinking water, they used to fall prey to waterborne illnesses. Your donation, Katie, has enabled Trailblazer to donate a bio-sand water filter to Saaran and his extended family. They can now filter their water, to get clean and safe drinking water. Thanks to your generosity, the family will now enjoy improved health.
