Hang Chea lives in a family unit of 10 females and 4 males. These families all live in palm leaf houses. They have 1 motorbike, 3 bicycle and an oxcart to get to school, the market and their rice field. With his 2 cows, Hang Chea and his family grow rice and can store away 2,100 kilograms for the season.
Since their water source is not reliable, the family often falls prey to water borne illnesses, because of which the children end up missing school.
Your donation of a bio-sand water filter, Julie, will ensure that Hang Chea’s family gets safe and hygenic drinking water.Thank you, Julie, for your gift of good health.
