Thank you for your gift of a full drinking well to Hoeut Haing and his family.
Hoeut Haing is a farmer who lives in the village of Prasat in a house made of palm leaf. His is a two unit family, comprising of five males and six females, and the family survives by farming in the rice field. They have 4 bicycles, shared among the family members, as their only form of transportation. They also have an ox cart for farming. To augment their food securities, they also have 7 ducks.
Your donation, Michael, enabled Traillblazers to construct a drinking well which will provide Hoeut’s family with precious, year-round water supply whereby they can grow more vegetables to increase their food securities and improve their health.
The construction of the well was delayed by several weeks because the recent floods in Cambodia made it impossible for Trailblazer workers to travel to far off villages, and it was for this reason that all impact stories were delayed. However, in the aftermath of the devastating floods, the work done by Trailblazers in bringing clean water to the villagers in Cambodia assumes even more significance than it had before.
Thank you, , for bringing Hoeut Haing and his family water and hope for a better life.
