Ms. Put Kob lives in a two unit family comprising of six females and five males in the village of Prasat Village. Put Kob and her family are farmers, and they live together in a wood house. Between themselves, the two family units share two bicycles and one oxcart. The families own 6 cows which give them milk for consumption and sale. They also have four ducks, which they use to augment the family income.
Your donations, Charlie (14 shares), Katie, Scott and Anita, enabled Traillblazers to construct a drinking well for Put Kob and family. This will not only provide her family with a year-round water supply, but also enable the families to grow rice and vegetables around the year, which will both increase food security and improve their health.
The construction of the well was delayed by several weeks because the recent floods in Cambodia made it impossible for Trailblazer workers to travel to far off villages, and it was for this reason that all impact stories were delayed. However, in the aftermath of the devastating floods, the work done by Trailblazers in bringing clean water to the villagers in Cambodia assumes even more significance than it had before.
Thank you for bringing Put Kob and her family members water and hope for a better life.
