A well for a family

Thank you so much for your gift of a well, the kind of gift that keeps on giving. Your well was given to Poeun Pon and his family of seven in Cambodia.

Pon and his family live in a house made with palm leaf walls, as you can see in the background. They have no form or transportation or livestock, yet they work hard in their rice field to grow and store 400 kilograms of rice every season. Now that they have a well and a sufficient source of water year-round, they can grow and irrigate a garden, thereby increasing their food supply and nutrition. They can also keep their children in better health through improved sanitation and hygiene. Thank you for giving Pon and his family water and hope of a better, healthier life.
